Today in Paris

today we got up way earlier.. Or at least the kids did.. At 8:30 and that was weird considering they were so powered up and giggled for more than an hour after I put them to bed.. Then Bruce tried to help soothe the savage children and he fell asleep in there, after Zoe fell asleep but before Finn did.  

Once we got up, we took the usual trip the Eiffel Tower park.. Breakfast, playing in the sun, and we were off for a tour of the Musee d'Orsay.  They totally rearranged the museum and it took a while to find the pieces I wanted to see.. The impressionists.  They didn't have much of the Monet I wanted to see, so it was the Renoirs that stood out..

Before we had time to see the post impressionists we needed to refuel.. So we went in search of food.. On the way to Notre Dame.  We went in the cathedral, and then to the small park around back.  On our way back we stumbled upon the Latin Quarter which was rich with food choices.. Wish we found that earlier.. We had the most amazing gelato and real, pudding thick hot chocolate..

I am exhausted.. Gonna finish my wine.. A show.. And get us all to bed.

And beautiful Zoë and the dashing Finn were so brave on this day..

And it is true.. They have their share of crazy American unruly children moments, stepping off a curb when they shouldn't, but for the most part they are amazing troopers. We are having a fantastic time
