Nous arrivons à Paris!

We love Paris! We ate, shopped for some food at the full store below us,  walked around the Eiffel Tower, along the river.. Finally showered, made the beds and I just ate a pot du chocolate.. Yummy

The 9 hour plane ride was smooth going the plane was half empty and I traded to get us two rows of three so the kids could sleep across two seats.. They did.. Zoe slept well next to her dad; Finn turned around every 40 minutes .. We tried every possible Finn laying down combination; should have gone with him just sitting up curled against me from the start ..  The kids probably got 6 hours of sleep.. Bruce and I probably none.. I zoned out for a while, but never got comfortable enough to sleep

We took a taxi to just keep thing easy going..
The taxi driver gave us a nice drive by the Arc De triumph, the crazy roundabout that made me thankful not be driving.

The place we are staying is eclectic, two bedrooms, well located. I think it will suit us fine.
There is an enormous grocery store with lovely fruit veggies, and oh the wine.. Lots for less than 4 euros.. I didn't buy any yet because if I did I would be out already.

We headed to the Eiffel Tower just 2 blocks away after finding food.. The first thing we found was the kid play ground.. I was reminded if an observation we has at Disney years ago.. All kids really want is a good playground.. This one being in the shadow of one of the most famous landmarks took a bit to phase them.. But when it did, Zoe was all gaga over it..
Bruce and I also noticed that we seem a lot less stressed about being in a foreign country, then we remember nearly 15 years ago.. I thought having kids would make that worse, but it seems to have put us in a take what you get state.. We are very excited for this adventure.

It's now 5:30pm in Paris and I am fading fast..
