tonight, right before dinner,
Zoe had me pause, look her straight in the face and then full on slapped me on the cheek. I did not yell, but sent her straight to her room. I am so mad and hurt I sent her dad to talk to her. We NEVER hit each other, EVER. I understand she is tired and probably hungry.. It is dinner time. She was mad at me for looking at a present she brought home from school. After her time in her room, Bruce went to check on her... via a story Finn told him and what Zoe said, the "punch" line: she saw on a cartoon that when a character forgets something, you slap them and then they remember.. She seemed to think it would work the other way too and that I would forget seeing the project she made at school

I took me a long bit to shake it off and her a bit to not feel embarrassed and mad.. I fed her, we hugged (i.e. I tackled her on the floor and tickeled and hugged her)
We cuddled and watched a show.. Annedroids..
