Margaret Ashurst, 91 years old, died on April 21, 2013. We made the pilgrimage back to Utah... The trip started off bumpy, so much so that Zoe's stomach disagreed with the sudden drops and she coated her iPad, pant shirt and plenty of the plane. Bruce and I stripped her kicking and screaming as we taxi'd on the water, and covered her in my jacket. Luckily we had full access to our luggage upon deplaning and we had a change. From then on, the trip was smooth sailing. We stayed at Carrie and Scott's with cousin Quinn (2).. And boy did they all have a blast. The trip started with a shy Quinn, but before long Bruce was "my Bruce" and at some point mom was told she could not get Quinn out of the car, Auntie Amy must do it... Of course before the trip, Zoe already had "my Zoe" status. We also spent some time with cousin Anna and Holly, and of course Bailey the beagle. And as much time with Nana, grandpa and the baby golden doodle Koda. It was a fantastic trip, full of wonderful times.. One of my favorites was watching everyone try their hand at golfing on the course behind Carrie's house.. And watching the kids run full out on the hills of the golf course at dusk.. Beautiful.
