chewing on books?

Zoe recently has developed an affinity for chewing on things.. like books, cardboard, plastic pieces.. yesterday I caught her with laying in front of her dad's night stand.. chewing on what looked like newspaper.. to find out she bit 3 pages out of a book and tore 4 more pages (more snack?).
